When I think about it, we’ve painted just about everything — kitchens where families gather, old farmhouses with stories in every board, even businesses that were getting ready to open their doors for the very first time.
What I’m really proud of is that people have let us into their homes and trusted us for three decades. We don’t rush through jobs, and we don’t disappear when things get tough. We show up, we prep the right way, we clean up, and we try to leave you smiling when we walk out the door.

For more than 30 years, JMB Painting has been a trusted residential and commercial painting contractor serving Troy, Tipp City, Huber Heights, Vandalia, Dayton, and communities throughout Ohio and the Midwest.
Founded in 1995 by owner Rick Kearns, JMB Painting has built a reputation for dependable craftsmanship and long-standing client relationships. In addition to residential work, the company handles large-scale commercial and industrial projects, including work for major manufacturers such as Mercedes-Benz, Jeep, Dodge, and Chrysler.
JMB Painting offers a wide range of services, including commercial and industrial painting, high-rise painting, high-performance coatings, sandblasting, fireproofing, sealants, water repellents, wall coverings, paint stripping, and epoxy and floor coating systems.
Based out of Dayton, JMB Painting specializes in large, challenging commercial and industrial projects which require massive amounts of manpower and management staff to ensure our projects run smoothly. JMB Painting performs all aspects of interior and exterior coatings including high performance coatings, floor coatings, sandblasting, water repellents, wall coverings and paint stripping.
JMB Painting is registered with the State of Ohio and with applicable local licensing agencies. JMB Painting is fully insured carrying Liability and Workman’s Compensation insurance certificates upon request. JMB Painting is also fully bonded and able to bond any single project up to $ 3,000,000. In addition, JMB Painting is a qualified SBE Contractor able to bid all your government jobs and help obtain any SBE quotas required.
We follow all applicable OSHA requirements. JMB Painting makes the health and safety of our employees our highest priority. Our team members are our greatest asset and we continuously provide the latest up to date safety training available. Our safety plan to which we adhere to is largely effective and we provide our employees with weekly training sessions year-round. JMB Painting values employee safety on site, and will continue to stay abreast on all the latest training methods and requirements.
Along with JMB Painting’s large workforce, JMB Painting is able to properly staff large amounts of manpower and perform projects which require high level background checks including military, governmental or any other high security requirements you may have.
